2026-08-09 (late): Experiment 001 opened, env ready
- Nicolas gave the GO ("how to get started"). Brief written at experiments/001-tess-monotransits/brief.md with method guardrails baked in.
- Python env built: uv + CPython 3.11.15 venv at astro-research/.venv with lightkurve 2.6.0, astroquery, wotan, astrocut, transitleastsquares, pandas, matplotlib, scipy. Verified importable. (Host python3 is 3.8, too old; uv brought its own 3.11.)
- Sole remaining blocker: Claude Code auth (claude setup-token, subscription). Offered tmux relay of the auth URL to Nicolas.
- Next: on auth, Claude Code runs W1-2 (reproduce 2 known TOIs end-to-end), then stops and reports.
